Hello and welcome! I am Michelle McCard, School Psychologist for Lewis S. Mills High School located in Burlington, CT. My family and I reside in the community, enjoying the peaceful setting, close-knit community, and have proudly educated our four children in the wonderful school system of Region 10.
Upon graduation from Salve Regina University in Newport, I earned my sixth-year degree at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. My early career was spent working in a clinical day school helping adolescents transition back to good emotional health.
In 1998, I found my truest passion when I began working at Mills. Over the course of my career, I have established many meaningful relationships with our amazing students. It has given me great joy to play a small role in facilitating their journey to becoming happy, emotionally secure graduates ready to reach their future potential.
When I am not excessively cheering our soccer teams, I can be found reflecting poolside, spending time relaxing with my husband, children, adorable grandsons, and spoiling my beloved Golden-doodle, Cooper.
